Through Romans 12, Paul clarifies what it means to be a follower of Jesus in relationship with Him. Too often we find ourselves measuring or assessing our Christian walk by looking how we go from Christian activity to Christian activity. God wants more than us to just be good people, he wants us to take it a step further and to pursue a relationship with him. We desire this relationship with God too, we often just can’t put into words what we are wanting or needing from him so we go from activity to activity and then we wonder why we aren’t being filled. We need relationship. Romans 12 tells us how to pursue that relationship with God.
